What a fun shoot, and what makes it really special is that it was for my niece Danielle (she’s the one on the right). Her sister got in on the act and mom too, and I think the series came out really great!
There were a few challenges with this session, the biggest being that we were shooting at the beach. Timing is everything when it comes to the beach. We had to get down there with just enough light left in the day, but not too much, but also, not too little! I supplement with flash, BUT (and you knew there’d be a BUT) the biggest challenge of all was that it was a stiff WIND the night we did the pictures. That made it SUPER challenging. I’m still very pleased with the results. The last few below were shot practically in the complete dark…
