This fall I was contacted to take some pictures of a trailer… okay, I thought, why not, should be interesting to say the least. It really was a cool trailer! Come to find out, it wasn’t just a trailer, it was an emergency response trailer used by cable operators to deliver generators that sit up on telephone poles to keep the cable system up and running… here are some shots from that session. What a fun shoot, and what makes it really special is that it was for my niece Danielle (she’s the one on the right). Her sister got in on the act and mom too, and I think the series came out really great! There were a few challenges with this session, the biggest being that we were shooting at the beach. Timing is everything when it comes to the beach. We had to get down there with just enough light left in the day, but not too much, but also, not too little! I supplement with flash, BUT (and you knew there’d be a BUT) the biggest challenge of all was that it was a stiff...

I’ve been crazy, crazy this summer going from place to place with my oldest daughter with Lacrosse… It’s taken entirely too long to get back to my computer to do some posting! Here we go, a couple of the more interesting ones of the past few months, starting with a Family shoot and framing project! This was a fun shoot – the challenge was getting a certain someone to smile for the camera – it took about a half hour, but he finally started coming around 🙂 the best part was that the dog was the most cooperative of all! Look how nice he posed for the camera!...

With our crazy busy schedule running our daughter to Lacrosse tournaments, I really haven’t had many opportunities to work with many families this fall and I really miss it! Here are a few from a recent session that I really love, especially like when I can be creative and have some fun with Photoshop… The bummer is that now that Hurricane Sandy has gone thru, all the pretty leaves will be on the ground instead of on the trees :(. Still, there are many opportunities for great shots this November!!
